🌟 Embracing Connection: A Call to Action

In the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of having lunch or coffee with 50 incredible people, each encounter enriching my life and work as a financial advisor. Now, I’m setting my sights on meeting 150 more. Why? Because connection is the lifeblood of growth and success.

From so many, I received encouragement about my business.  From others, I have benefited from wisdom, gained from their experiences.  But best of all, with some, I’ve developed life-long friendships.  Many of these people are those I have added to my “3 AM” list; those who I could call in the middle of the night if I had an urgent need.

But this isn’t just about me. It’s a reminder for all of us to step out of our comfort zones and reach out. As the Proverbs 18:1 says, “Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.” We thrive through collaboration, not in isolation.

So, I encourage you—don’t wait for others to make the first move. Be the initiator. Seek out conversations, share a meal, exchange ideas. You never know where a simple lunch can lead you.
